Get Active in Herts is a new service we offer at the surgery, which will help improve your health and wellbeing through physical activity. The Get Active Specialists will help to find fun and friendly local activities to suit you, based on your fitness level and interests. From free walks to badminton, dance to swimming, they will help find the right thing for you. The Specialist will create a personal plan of action with you and review your progress over a 6 month period offering guidance and information along the way.
If you currently undertake less than 30-minutes of physical activity that raises your breathing per week and are over the age of 16, speak to a GP who can put you in touch with the Get Active Specialist or contact your local specialist direct.
